The Moonshine Monster

I love monsters! This monster emerged from the full moon dream, and as most little monsters he turns into a sweet pet once you dare to face him and ask why the heck he wants to scare you.

This is a one of a kind textile artwork. The monster body comes from an old bed spread that I bought years ago in a flea marked. The moon and half moon silk fabrics are from worn out clothes a friend kindly donated to me.

The applications are hand stitched, and the work stitched onto black cotton and mounted on a wooden frame (handmade by my husband). Signed and ready to hang on the wall in its new home.
