The foundation for this picture was a challenge for New Year: What is the word you will choose for how you want to feel in 2026? My word was professional. I think this is the year I definitly take my art from a hobby basis to something more. Which means showing up in the studio most days and CREATE. My hands being guided by the materials, my intuition and my feelings.
The elephant is a symbol of wisdom.
Hands creating is made by recycled scraps of silk and cotton, some plant dyed. One of a kind handmade item. Mounted onto canvas, signed and ready to hang on the wall.
